GPMS is the leader in next generation health and monitoring systems for commercial and military helicopters, boats and planes.

Known for creating next-generation health and monitoring systems for commercial, military helicopters, and prop planes GPMS needed a fresh and efficient approach to presenting complex data to engineers, in-field technicians and fleet managers. Speed and presentation of vital information designed to reduce unplanned downtime and costly catastrophic failures was top of mind for GPMS.


The GMPS team had already developed a very robust technology platform that delivered engineers and fleet managers extremely detailed, real-time data. They now needed a user experience and interface design solution that could make sense of large amounts of data and display it in a way that is easily understood.

Beyond the UX/UI needs, GPMS also needed a unique brand system that would set them apart from their competition and positioned them as a leader in the aero telematics space. We also quickly realized early on in the project that the overall user experience would be the biggest expression of the brand so we focused on tailoring an experience that kept our multiple user groups engaged and on task.


A deep understanding of the GMPS health monitoring system was first needed in order to frame the right experience for its very specific user groups. Creating an intuitive hierarchy of information was key and was developed through the user experience process, first creating detailed user flows, then wireframes and later in refined in the prototyping phase. Information graphics, color, iconography and display text were rendered in a detailed user Interface design phase which led us to the application design used by its many customers today.


We delivered a well-structured brand architecture for GPMS’s MX and FX aeronautics monitoring systems as well as a full brand visual system that elevated all aspects of product development.

We delivered an on-screen brand experience that defines the highest quality in telematics and delivered a marketing website and collateral that positioned their software products above all others in the industry.

GPMS is currently expanding their products into new turbine industries such as, marine, wind and prop planes.
